Is four to five times stronger than annealed glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails. It is manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, making it harder than normal glass. And if broken, tempered glass falls out of its opening in interlocking clumps in small size, which could help reduce the damage.

Zhongli toughened enameled glass is an opaque colored glass, produced by uniformly enameling one side of the glass. The enamel is fired at a very high temperature, in order to fuse permanently with the glass surface, giving the product exceptional durability. This glass from Zhongli is a toughened safety glass with the mechanical properties and durability inherent to clear toughened glass, so as to function in both facades and interior applications.
