During the Fourth China International Vehicles Components Expo, the China First Repair Technician Skills Competition of Automobile Glass was successfully opened at China Expo on Sep.25, 2010.

As the increasing of automobile inventory and stepping into home use rapidly, automobile glass components market and relevant industries will meet high-speed development. As an important part of automobile safety system, automobile glass installation system, together with safety belt and safety air, bag are three key factors of automobile safety guarantee. Every piece of glass that the automobile glass repair technician installs is all directly and indirectly related to the safety of drivers and passengers.

Hosted by Automobile Glass Professional Committee of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and China International Automobile Components Expo, supported by Fuyao Glass Industry Group, Beijing Fuyao Glass Co., Ltd., Henkel (China) Co., Ltd., and Sika (China) Co., Ltd., the content of this competition is the disassembly and assembly of front and behind windscreen glass. The members of the judge group are all experts from national automobile glass industry and meantime the committee also invited many insurance firms represents, news media and enterprise represents from national automobile glass components industry.

This is a competition showing the professional skills and favorable service of the automobile glass repairing technician as a new national occupation, inspiring the positive self-confidence, self-discipline and self-reliance enthusiasm of the whole industry, encouraging the whole industry to study on professional skills, improving the service quality, and providing best service for the customers.
