Industrial Self-discipline Conference for Turkey Exported Flat Glass Held in Beijing
In order to do well in industrial self-discipline work for Turkey exported flat glass, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association held a meeting at Beijing Ziyu Restaurant on Apr.24th, 2009 which introduced something about Turkey supervision for china exported float glass products, passed relevant resolution, introduced relevant work about record assertions and exchanged the ideas on flat glass industry exporting situation. Jiangtao Zhang, vice-president and Baiheng Zhang, secretary from China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and Xie Li from Import & Export Trade Office of Commerce Ministry attended this conference. Xie Li states in his speech that Commerce Ministry insists on handling the special-protection program for Turkey appropriately, enhancing the dialogue and negotiation among industries in the case and advocating win-win cooperation. Moreover, Xie Li also introduces generally the achievements of industrial discipline work that other industries made for promoting normal trade between Turkey and China. He hopes that the enterprises in glass industry could deal with their business by themselves by industrial discipline and enterprises participating which shows the fairness and justness principle of the association and accelerate flat glass products exporting.
As the conference host, Baiheng Zhang secretary- general from China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association introduced something about supervison for china exported flat glass products and states that in order to avoid the Turkey special–protection policy for float glass, under the guide and coordination of import & export fair trade office of Commerce Ministry, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and Turkey represents negotiated for several times and finally made an agreement. Turkey Foreign Trade Ministry released No.27200-2009/6 Notice on Apr.14th, 2009. From now on, Turkey decides to carry out the supervision policy for China exported float glass products and all the float glass products exported to Turkey should get the approval from China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association first and then could be discharged. He hopes that the exporting enterprises do well on self-discipline and maintaining the interest of industry and exporting enterprises.
Based on the discussion and research by conference represents, there are some decision made as follows:
First, management of industrial self-discipline for Turkey exported flat glass was passed.
Second, committee work clause of industrial self-discipline for Turkey exported flat glass was passed.
Third, industrial discipline committee for Turkey exported flat glass was established with director Baiheng Zhang and members including Limin Yang, Zhaoheng Zhang, Tingfa Cao, Xizhong Fang and Zhiwu Zhou.
15 china enterprises including China Yaohua Glass Group, Shandong G-crystal Technology Co., Ltd., China CSG Group, Luoyang Glass Co., Ltd., Hebei G-crystal Glass Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu SHD New Material Co., Ltd., together with represents in the aspect of exporting from other enterprises related to this business attended this conference with aim to enhance self-discipline work and maintain the interest of industry and enterprises following the above resolutions.
