TC Float Hot Repair Tin Bath Roof

After just 3 years since the formation of TC Float and many successful new installations and Repairs, TC Float are pleased to announce that they have successfully completed a Hot Repair on the Tin Bath Roof for the Flat Glass Production Line.

This Repair was carried out for Saint-Gobain Glass in Stolberg, Germany, whilst the Tin was kept molten and consisted of increasing the heating capacity in several zones, as well as the installation of completely new zones.

TC Float were responsible for design, supply of all materials, tools, manpower and supervision.

TC Float chose TCCE to provide the manpower and sitework, due to their vast knowledge and expertise working on the Tin Bath Roof.

TCF would like to acknowledge the team of engineers of Saint-Gobain and TCCE in the success of this specialised operation.

What this also means is that no longer do glassmakers have to accept producing glass with damaged or broken heating elements, because TC Float can replace the defective element, without the need to shut down the line.
