With immediate effect, a team of four will look after Thieme customers in the market segments Decorative, Functional and Glass printing
Printing machine manufacturer Thieme GmbH & Co. KG, based in Germany's South Baden, has reorganised its sales activities. As a result, the responsibilities for the Decorative and Functional printing segments have changed hands.
The end of 2017 was also the end of an era at Thieme: Jürgen Weischedel, former figurehead of the sales department and a driving force behind the success of the medium-sized print machine manufacturer, retired in December. Now, it is time for the younger generation to move up – or rather, the next two generations: Jürgen Sexauer, aged 50, assumed responsibility for the Decorative Print segment while the Functional Print activities were taken over by 28-year old Nicolas Jahr. Our customer projects within the Glass Print segment have been managed by Christian Schweickert since 2011. Overall print system sales have been managed by Oliver Beck since 2011 who is also responsible for the global key accounts.
Jürgen Sexauer, who joined Thieme in September 2017, has extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience in the area of offset printing which he will now apply in his new responsibility for the Decorative Print segment. Jürgen trained in the area of marketing and media technology and has many years’ sales experience. Nicolas Jahr, a mechanical engineer, has vast technological know-how and international project experience. He joined Thieme in July 2016 and has since been focussing on the area of Functional Print.
