XPAR participated in the Future Glass Forum Conference
XPAR Vision, an innovative Dutch company, specialized in advanced sensor technology and automation for the global glass container industry, was among the companies speaking during the recently-held Glassman event.
XPAR participated in the Future Glass Forum Conference, with its International Account Manager Job van de Laar giving a well-received Industry 4.0 lecture in Spanish, on container glass forming in 2020/2025: the Dark Factory.
In his presentation, Job emphasized the huge possibilities for improvement of efficiency and quality on the one hand and weight and speed on the other hand, by applying hot end sensors (e.g. XPAR Vision IR-D), automated control loops and robots (for e.g. swabbing).
During two extreme busy days, XPAR Vision hosted a significant number of interested parties, both from the glass manufacturing side from Mexico, Central and South America, as well as a number of global suppliers to the glass industry who act as development partners.
