(China Glass Network) Report from National Development and Reform Commission states that inventory of plate glass is up to 25.12million standard cases with an increase of 41% by the end of June, while the price of flat glass slumping continuously.
It’s reported that capacity of flat glass is 375.28million standard cases, which increased 3.9 percentage. At the same time, ex-factory price of flat glass is 69.4RMB/standard case,4RMB lower than last month and 7.8RMB reduced of corresponding period of last year.
The profit of flat glass in the first 5 months this year is 1.4 billion RMB ,which reduced 55.9% compared with the same period last year.
According to opinions of insiders, signs of stabilization has appeared currently in price of flat glass.
In addition, name list of Eliminated Enterprises with Backward Capacity has been published I, 2225 enterprises involving in 18 industries are in the list. The number of enterprises of flat glass is 45 and the amount of flat glass is 29.407 million standard cases.
